Location information

Ancerville is a village and commune in the Department of the Meuse, 12.5 miles (20 kilometres) south-west of Bar-le-Duc and some 3 miles (5 kilometres) east of St Dizier, a town on the N.4 road from Paris to Nancy and on the Calais to Chaumont railway. The cemetery is south-west of the village, on a track leading from the main street to the neighbouring hamlet of Marnaval.

History information

Some 3 yards west of the war memorial are the graves of five airmen. Three of them belonged to the Royal Air Force, one to the Royal Canadian Air Force and one to the Royal Australian Air Force.
