Location Information

Kirton-in-Lindsey is a village in North Lincolnshire, 9 miles south of Scunthorpe and a mile west of the A15 to Lincoln. The cemetery, formerly known as Kirton-in-Lindsey Burial Ground, is on the west side of the village along Grove Street.


History Information

The cemetery contains the graves of 23 casualties from the 1939-45 war, 20 of whom served with the air forces of the Commonwealth. Their graves form a service plot in Block A. There is also 1 non-world war grave in the cemetery.
