Location information

Kragero is a town on the south-east coast, between Arendal and Brevik. From the E18, turn onto the 38 in the direction of Kragero and follow the 38 to a signpost pointing to the right to the Victoria Hotel. Turn right here then the cemetery (kirkegard) is signed to the left just past a large DIY store. On entering the cemetery, go past the chapel then take the second path on the right. Go down the slope and the Commonwealth war graves are about 80 metres along here on the left.

History information

The cemetery contains four Commonwealth burials of the First World War, only one of them identified by name. All were sailors who died at the Battle of Jutland in 1916.
