  • Additional Info Son of Lt. Col.W. Marsh, C.B.E. V.D., D.L., and Agnes Elizabeth Marsh, of Old Sarum House, Yeovil, Somerset. Served (as Lt. in the South African Campaign with Mountec Infantry of 60th Rifles; afterwards gazetted to the South Lancashire Regt., and proceeded with them to India where he transferred to Indian Army-also served in France and Gallipoli.
