Rededication service for Serjeant Ernest Edward Harris will be held at CWGC’s Villers-Bretonneux Military Cemetery

A rededication service will be held for Serjeant Ernest Edward Harris at 10.30 am (local time) at Villers-Bretonneux Military Cemetery.

Serjeant Harris served with the Essex Regiment and was killed in action on 8 August 1918.

CWGC will install a headstone bearing his name and personal inscription chosen by his family, and care for his grave in perpetuity.

The service has been organised by the Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre and will be attended by family members, Defence Staff, Regimental representatives, CWGC staff and local dignitaries. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
