Get your photo in the 2022 Foundation calendar

Last year, the Commonwealth War Graves Foundation ran a call out for photographs on social media to be featured our first-ever charity calendar. The calendar was available on our online shop to help raise funds for the CWGF’s education programmes.

The photographs which were submitted reflected the global reach of the CWGC’s work – with pictures from our memorials and cemeteries in locations in all around the world.

This year, we are asking you to submit more photos for your chance to be included in the 2022 calendar.

To get involved, simply post the best photo you’ve taken of one of our sites, memorials, cemeteries or headstones from anywhere in the world - from iconic memorials and cemeteries to scattered graves in your local churchyard.

Share the photo with the hashtag #CWGFCalendar on Twitter and Instagram or send via email to before the end of August for your chance to be included in the calendar. The best three photos will be featured in the calendar.

The Commonwealth War Graves Foundation (CWGF) aims to engage and educate people - especially the young - with the work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC), and the stories of the men and women who died whilst fighting in the two World Wars.
