Pay tribute to the Commonwealth’s service personnel this Commonwealth Day

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission is marking Commonwealth Day with the launch of a new way for the public honour to the men and women of the Commonwealth who gave their lives in the World Wars.

The CWGC tribute allows visitors to lay a personalised, environmentally friendly message to someone they’re remembering at their grave or memorial.

It is 100% biodegradable and compostable and its design reflects the six Commonwealth member nations who fund our work.

When travel resumes, visitors to Western Europe will be able to purchase a tribute while touring the former battlefields, from the CWGC Experience in Beaurains, France and in the CWGC Ieper Information Centre, next to the Menin Gate.
