Nottingham Redhill (Arnold) Cemetery - War Graves Week Tours

War Graves Week is an initiative aimed at encouraging people from the local community to come together and discover the World War heritage on their doorstep – learning about the stories of those commemorated by the CWGC and the skills, dedication and expertise of those CWGC staff and volunteers who work to keep their memory alive.

MEETING POINT is outside the cemetery gatehouse on Mansfield Road.

The tour will visit the First and Second World War graves of many local men but also those from all over the UK. There are 19 First World War and 63 Second World War burials including a Polish airman.

A small car park is located opposite the main cemetery entrance. Public transport available via the 87 bus from Parliament Street in Nottingham City Centre and stops just a few yards from the cemetery. There are on-site facilities including toilets. The ground is uneven and hilly in parts with some steep slopes. There is some wheelchair access.

Please come prepared for all weather, and wear sensible walking shoes. Please bring water as refreshments are not available.
