Nuneaton (Oaston Road) Cemetery - War Graves Week Tours

Nuneaton (Oaston Road) Cemetery

War Graves Week is an initiative aimed at encouraging people from the local community to come together and discover the World War heritage on their doorstep – learning about the stories of those commemorated by the CWGC and the skills, dedication and expertise of those CWGC staff and volunteers who work to keep their memory alive.

MEETING POINT is by the cemetery's chapel building.

The cemetery is the resting place for twelve casualties from the First World War, and 76 Second World War Casualties. The tour will include the well maintained CWGC British/Commonwealth, Polish and German plots, along with a number of the cemetery's scattered war graves including a Battle of Britain spitfire pilot.

Parking available nearby, no facilities or toilets, uneven and level ground.

Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
