Location information

Rye is a village of Jutland, some 40 kilometres south-west of Aarhus. Gammel is the Danish word for 'old'; the churchyard is on the north-east side of the village 5 kilometres from Rye railway station. In it are buried in a collective grave 4 airmen of the Royal Air Force and 3 of the Royal Canadian Air Force.
