Location information

Medemblik is 18 kilometres north of Hoorn, and 55 ilometres north-north-east of Amsterdam, on the west bank of the Ijsselmeer. It lies 6 kilometres east of the main Amsterdam-Leeuwarden road. The cemetery is on the southern outskirts of the village, on the by-road to Oostwoud. The war graves are in a central position, near the entrance.
