Location information
Vriezenveen is a small town 9 kilometres north of Almelo, about 1.5 kilometres east of the Overijssel Canal. The cemetery is 200 metres north of the centre of the town in Weemenstraat. The Commonwealth war graves are in the far south-western corner on the right hand side of the old cemetery.

Vriezenveen General Cemetery contains six Commonwealth burials of the Second World War, five of them airmen.
